How it works

Tremblant Global ETF does not track an index; Tremblant Advisors LP actively picks every holding. It may hold common stocks, American Depositary Receipts (U.S.-traded shares of foreign companies) and real estate investment trusts, mostly of large and mid-sized companies.

Stock picking is bottom-up, company by company: the adviser weighs competition, management, growth prospects and pricing power, then cash flows, return on capital, balance sheet and valuation. It sells when a stock fails those tests or a better idea appears. The prospectus sets out no weighting formula or rebalancing schedule. The adviser aims to hold for years; turnover, the share of the portfolio replaced annually, was 26%, according to the prospectus filed April 30, 2026. The process tends to favor consumer discretionary and communication services stocks.

Normally, at least 40% of assets must be tied to non-U.S. countries (30% in unfavorable markets). A company counts as non-U.S. if at least half its revenue, profits or assets are outside the U.S. If non-U.S. stocks fall below 45% of its benchmark, the MSCI World Index, that floor can drop, staying within 5 percentage points of the index's non-U.S. weight. As of June 30, 2026, it had 29 holdings and no derivatives; the top ten made up 46% of assets, and companies classed as U.S. made up 77%.

What it really costs

  • TOGA charges 0.69% a year, versus an average of 0.56% for the similar funds below (6th of 7, cheapest first).
  • Using the prospectus's standard example, $10,000 invested would cost about $70 in the first year and $859 over 10 years (assuming a 5% annual return).
Cost of $10,000 (SEC example)1 yr3 yrs5 yrs10 yrs
TOGA$70$221$384$859

In a retirement portfolio

RoleSatellite (higher risk)

It is a concentrated, actively picked portfolio of about 30 growth-oriented consumer and internet stocks, with no income and a short, volatile record.

TOGA could serve as a small growth-focused piece alongside broader core funds. Its record is short. It launched on May 3, 2024, so it went through none of the 2008, 2020 or 2022 sell-offs. Its only full calendar year, 2025, returned 14.29%, according to the prospectus. Its deepest drop was 28.5%, from September 18, 2025, to March 27, 2026. It had not regained that peak as of October 27, 2026, and was down 13.04% for 2026 through that date. Someone who has to sell during a slump like this one locks in the loss. The fund recorded no distributions, so any cash taken from it has to come from selling shares. In the SEC's standard example, costs on $10,000 come to $70 in the first year and $859 over 10 years. Past results don't predict future ones, and a retirement plan should look at the whole portfolio, not one fund.

Who it may suit — and who should look elsewhere

May suit

  • Investors who want an active manager's concentrated picks: about 30 stocks, with the top 10 at 45.57% of assets as of June 30, 2026.
  • Growth-focused investors at ease with names like Reddit, Uber, DoorDash and MercadoLibre, and with 1-year volatility of 22.1% as of October 27, 2026.
  • People adding a small satellite position who don't need income from it, since the fund recorded no distributions.

Look elsewhere if

  • Retirees who count on fund distributions for spending money; TOGA recorded none.
  • Cost-conscious investors: TOGA's 0.69% expense ratio ranks 6th of 7 among similar funds, which average 0.56%.
  • Investors wanting broad global diversification or a long record; TOGA launched in May 2024 and was 76.81% US-listed as of June 30, 2026.

Questions investors ask

Does TOGA pay dividends?

No distributions are on record for TOGA. The fund aims for long-term growth, not income, and many of its largest holdings, such as Reddit, Uber and DoorDash, are growth companies. Investors who want cash from this fund would have to sell shares. That matters most in a down market, when selling locks in losses. Investors who need regular income may want to compare it with funds built to pay dividends.

Is TOGA a good ETF for retirement?

TOGA is better described as a higher-risk satellite than a core retirement holding. It owns about 30 stocks, pays no income and launched only in May 2024. It fell 28.5% from September 18, 2025, to March 27, 2026, and had not recovered as of October 27, 2026. It may suit retirees who want a small growth slice next to broader, steadier funds, but its short record says little about how it would hold up in a long bear market.

What stocks does TOGA hold?

As of June 30, 2026, TOGA's largest holdings were Reddit (5.45%), Grab Holdings (4.72%), Affirm (4.63%), Live Nation Entertainment (4.51%) and Spotify (4.48%). Varonis, Wyndham Hotels, Coupang, DoorDash and Uber round out the top 10, which together made up 45.57% of assets. The fund held 29 companies. By listing country, 76.81% were US stocks, with others from Singapore, Sweden, Germany, Uruguay and Canada.

TOGA vs PNQI: what's the difference?

Invesco NASDAQ Internet ETF (PNQI) has the most holdings in common with TOGA, but the overlap is only about 20%, so the two are not close substitutes. TOGA is actively managed with a global mandate. PNQI focuses on internet companies. PNQI costs less, at 0.60% against 0.69%. As of October 27, 2026, PNQI's 1-year return was -10.9%, against -16.2% for TOGA. PNQI also has a 3-year record (20.2%); TOGA does not.

What is TOGA's expense ratio?

TOGA's expense ratio is 0.69%, according to its prospectus filed April 30, 2026. All of it is the management fee, and no fee waiver applies. In the SEC's standard example, a $10,000 investment earning 5% a year would cost about $70 after one year, $384 after five and $859 after 10. The fund ranks 6th of 7 on cost among similar funds, which average 0.56%.
